Reserva the Youth Land Trust is the world's first entirely youth-funded nature reserve that includes over 100 people under the age of 26, representing 30+ countries across the globe. As a youth council member, I've been given incredible opportunities to work with other youth across the world under the shared goal of conserving nature.

This particular project is a collaboration with The Leatherback Project, raising funds to purchase the satellite tags that will document the migration routes of nesting sea turtles in Panama's Pearl Islands. These, in turn, will inform the formation of a Marine Protected Area for endangered sea turtles.

I was able to raise $1.3k towards this project by selling artwork. In addition, Reserva created Ode to the Ocean, a book of poetry written by young people sharing their love for the ocean. I'm so honored to have my sea turtle painting on the cover of this book.
